UK Study Abroad Programmes
Studying abroad in the UK comprises of two categories:
- Full time enrolment in an institution
- As an exchange student (usually over the summer or for one academic year)
Full time study in the UK falls into three main categories:
- Primary school education (from the ages of 5 to 11 or 13)
- Secondary education (from the ages of 11 or 13 to 18)
- Higher education, better know as university.

What Can I study In The UK?
Independent (private) schools aim to provide education of the highest quality, whether it be intellectual, moral, technical or physical. The curriculum is varied and stimulating. Scholarships for US Students Studying In The UK
For independent secondary schools, scholarships are awarded based on performance in a competitive academic exam at age 13. Each independent (private) school have their own exam. For further information on preparing for scholarship to independent schools, please contact us.
For universities, the UK government offers hundreds of scholarships, bursaries and additional financial support to students from several countries. You can visit the UKCISA (UK Council for International Student Affairs) website to find out if you are eligible for a scholarship. Many institutions also offer their own financial assistance, and you can check their websites for more information.
