Course Selection
Once you have decided upon your course and university, we will work with you to create a shortlist of suitable colleges and advise you on which to apply to. We can help by pairing you with graduates or current students at your shortlisted colleges helping you to understand what they are really like and helping you choose the right college for you.
Personal Statement Support
You will be mentored by one of our expert tutors who will be a graduate in your course from Oxford or Cambridge. The tutor will guide you on suggested wider reading and extra-curricular activities in order to create rich and detailed content to make your personal statement stand out. We will never write the statement for you but we will help you craft your core application message and then to communicate this in a crisp and succinct way. Your statement must explain why you are interested in the course, why you want to study it and why you will be an asset to the university course. Find out more.
Preparation for Admissions Tests
We will assign you with a tutor, who is a graduate from Oxbridge in your chosen course, who will mentor and guide you in the lead up to your admissions tests and interviews. This will include one-to-one tutoring covering core material as well as introducing you to new topics beyond the bounds of the sixth form syllabus. Advice and guidance will also be given on suggested wider reading, written work that needs to be submitted as well as tutorials reviewing and practicing past admissions test questions so that you can hone your strategy and technique. Interview Practice
Your tutor will conduct interview practice sessions with you. These will be subject specific interviews which will be designed to make you think independently, critically and logically as well as to develop your analytical and lateral thinking skills. The aim of the interview practice sessions is to build your confidence in being able to explain, sometimes under some intense pressure, difficult and complex questions in a clear and succinct manner.
